Understand what a replacement tips fee and re-shipping fee cover for press on nails, plus when you might need these extra services.
Quick Answer
A replacement tips fee covers the cost of replacement nail tips when you need to replace individual nails from your set. A re-shipping fee covers the actual shipping cost when your package needs to be re-sent due to an address issue, return to sender, or other customer-requested changes.
When You Might Need a Replacement Fee
Press on nails are handmade, so each set is crafted to your specific size and design. If you lose a nail, break one, or need a different size, the replacement tips fee covers the cost of the new tips themselves. This is not a shipping charge — it's for the actual nail pieces.
When You Might Need a Re-Shipping Fee
The re-shipping fee covers the actual postage cost when your package needs to be sent again. Common scenarios include an incorrect address, a package returned to sender, or a request to change the shipping method after the original order shipped. The exact cost is generated during checkout based on the new shipping details.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What does the replacement tips fee actually pay for?
- It pays for the new nail tips themselves — the acrylic or gel material and the labor to create them. It does not include shipping. You need to contact the store for a quote before purchasing.
- When should I buy the re-shipping fee?
- Buy the re-shipping fee when your package needs to be re-sent due to an incorrect address, a return to sender, or any other situation where you require the package to be shipped again. The actual shipping cost is calculated at checkout. Always double-check your shipping address before the original order ships to avoid needing this fee.
- Can I buy replacement tips without contacting the store first?
- No. The store requires you to contact them for a replacement tip quote before purchasing the listing. This ensures the correct tips are made for your set and that you know the cost upfront. Email [email protected] with your order details to get a quote.

Fee For Replacement Tips - Re-Shipping Fee: The actual shipping cost will be generated during the check out process. Purchase this listing if you need your package to be re-shipped or adding extra postage fee. Examples include returned items for fix size/length, incorrect address, return to sender packages, or any other cases that require extra postage. The re-shipping fee is not a flat rate — it's the real shipping cost calculated at checkout, so you only pay what the carrier charges.
